Reclaimed Stacking Stools
I had the opportunity to work with Gaylord Brothers in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity, the Near West Side Initiative and Syracuse University to design library products and furniture to be manufactured using reclaimed lumber from local factories. Manufacturing began in Fall 2013 in a refurbished cabinet shop in downtown Syracuse, creating jobs for local residents who have been trained in the necessary manufacturing processes.
